We design places that thousands of people move through every day. Getting that right takes a broad range of talented people.
Life here. Architects, masterplanners, landscape architects, interior designers, wayfinding specialists, commercial strategists, design technologists and BIM specialists all work on the same projects. Alongside the design teams are the people who keep the studios running.
Newark is where Benoy started in 1947. Our largest studios are in London and Shanghai, and colleagues work from other locations worldwide. Each studio works on international projects and benefits from shared knowledge gained through collaboration.
Different backgrounds and different training produce work that none of us would have reached alone. That is why we recruit the way we do. Good work gets recognised here, and we fund the qualifications and training that produce more of it. From studio parties to social sports and summer ice creams, our studio culture is supported by our social and wellbeing teams keep our studio thriving.
Work experience. We offer one and two-week placements in the studio where you’ll work on a mock project alongside our design teams. Suited to anyone considering a career in architecture or a related discipline.
Employer projects. This five-week remote project is run with universities, giving students a real brief to work to and something substantial to include in a portfolio.
Part 3 support. Our programme of lectures and workshops is run by people across the studio, covering how Benoy operates. Our Part 3 candidates sit it alongside their qualification.
RIBA mentors programme. We support the wider industry through the RIBA’s mentoring scheme.
