Landscape design for Southeast Asia’s first Live Nation venue
Located on Grange Road at the heart of the Orchard Road precinct, adjacent to Somerset MRT Station, this 3,000-capacity live music venue will be Live Nation’s first purpose-built entertainment venue in Southeast Asia. Developed in partnership with Lendlease Global Commercial REIT and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the venue forms part of the wider rejuvenation of Orchard Road, repositioning the street beyond retail towards a mixed cultural and entertainment destination. Benoy was appointed to develop the landscape design for the site, integrating green space and biophilic design into an urban entertainment venue across two storeys.

A landscape rooted in Singapore’s green identity
The landscape scheme weaves native planting, shaded outdoor areas, and advanced water management systems through the venue’s public realm. The plant palette was selected for biodiversity and performance in Singapore’s climate, creating a genuinely green environment rather than a decorative layer. Interactive public areas offer flexible outdoor spaces for community use, events, and casual dwell, extending the venue’s offer beyond performance into everyday public life.

From emerging talent to global acts
The venue design accommodates a wide spectrum of programming, from intimate showcases for developing artists to large-scale productions across multiple rooms and stages of varying scale. A café and bar on site double as smaller event spaces, which extend the venue’s functionality beyond show nights into the week. The landscape paired with the programming make this venue a community and cultural asset that can be enjoyed by all.
