A new lifestyle hospitality experience for Riyadh
Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga Hotel and Residences will mark the brand’s debut in Saudi Arabia, forming the hospitality centrepiece of the mixed-use Al Malga Urban Village in the north of Riyadh. The architectural concept positions the 12-storey tower at the terminus of a pedestrianised boulevard connecting guests and visitors to the retail, dining, and leisure offer of the wider village. A façade of bronze-toned louvres sweeps the full height of the building, forming a dynamic envelope that opens at ground and upper levels to reveal public dining spaces and landscaped terraces, giving the hotel a civic presence within the scheme and drawing the surrounding life of the village directly into its edges.
Programme
The hotel will offer 200 keys: 130 standard rooms and suites alongside 25 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom, and ten three-bedroom serviced apartments. Three restaurants, generous event spaces and social wellness facilities complete the programme. The development is targeting LEED certification. Benoy is leading the architecture of the hotel and the façade and interior design of the mall, working alongside Omrania as lead consultant on the wider Al Malga scheme.
