Interior design for Kerzner International’s first SIRO hotel in Saudi Arabia.
Concepts for a SIRO Hotel Olaya is a 200-key fitness and recovery hotel for Kerzner International in Riyadh’s Olaya business and residential district. To be Kerzner’s first property in Saudi Arabia with 39,672m² GFA across a 30-storey tower: public and programme spaces on the lower levels, guest rooms above, and a penthouse and private club house at the summit.

Architecture drawn from Saudi geological strata
The architecture takes its form from the geological strata of Saudi Arabia. Stacked horizontal layers echo the country’s natural rock formations, with each tier shifting in material and hue: stone, sand-coloured concrete and textured glass move through the elevation in sedimentary register. Curvilinear forms soften the volume, drawing on the contours of desert dunes and the worn surfaces of weathered rock. The colour palette runs from soft sand and sunbaked terracotta through dried sage and dusty rose to deep earthy browns, grounding the tower in its arid landscape.
A wellness interior across the SIRO programme
The interior concept frames the hotel as a wellness retreat for mind and body within the city, with a material language of organic textures, warm woods, smooth stone and tactile fabrics, paired with biophilic moments and ambient lighting. Public spaces span a lobby, the Collective community lounge and SIRO Table all-day dining. At the heart of the building, a Fitness Lab uses mindful zoning between high-energy and personal-training areas, and a Recovery Lab combines warm oak panels, frosted glass and white upholstery. Guest rooms are finished in ivory plaster, light oak veneer and oak LVT flooring, with bubble onyx counter-tops in the bathrooms.
