The world’s first Mercedes-AMG experience destination
Just a 45-minute drive from Riyadh and set against the dramatic Tuwaiq Mountains, the Mercedes-AMG World of Performance will be the centrepiece of Qiddiya City’s Speed Park. Developed through a partnership between Qiddiya Investment Company, Mercedes-AMG, and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, the destination is expected to open by 2030. Benoy is responsible for the architecture, interiors and experiential design in collaboration with RWS, and the public realm masterplan for the wider Motorsport Park.

The building rises across nine floors, its angular form drawing from the dynamism of motorsport, evoking movement and energy within the dramatic landscape of the Tuwaiq escarpment. Sections of the Qiddiya Speed Park circuit, a 21-turn track designed by former F1 driver Alex Wurz and circuit architect Hermann Tilke, run directly beneath the building, bringing visitors into physical proximity with live racing. More than 20 attractions and exhibits are distributed across the building, including over 60 simulators, a Motion 4D Simulator Theatre, rides, and a programme of exhibitions tracing Mercedes-AMG’s heritage from road car to Formula 1 dominance.

The masterplan extends the experience beyond the structure itself. A series of spaces for dining, socialising, and dwelling activate the wider public realm, creating a destination that functions independently of the attraction programme. The placemaking vision for the scheme positions the complex as a significant new quarter of Qiddiya City.
