A landscaped tower for a modern garden city
Standing on a prominent site along King Salman Road in Riyadh, Green Tower is a premium new 23-storey workplace designed for Osus. The design responds to Osus’ ambition for a workplace that is both architecturally distinctive and rooted in local, traditional architectural traditions, resolved as an elegant twisting tower with a green ribbon of landscaped terraces scaling the full height of the building and culminating in a crowning sky garden. The concept draws directly from Riyadh’s wider ambitions as a garden city, bringing biophilic design into he heart of the urban core.
People-focused biophilic design
The 34 boutique office spaces will be complemented by event facilities opening onto outdoor green spaces. The twisting form generates panoramic views that shift as people move through the building, an ever-evolving interaction with the Riyadh skyline. Sustainable design principles underpin the scheme, creating a workplace centred on wellbeing and innovation.
The design was awarded ‘Best New Concept’ at the Design Middle East Awards 2024.
